Underwriter, Commercial Insurance Specialty

Chubb is currently seeking a Commercial Underwriter to join its Middle Market Commercial Insurance practice in Long Island.

• Develop and negotiate price, coverage, terms and conditions for all new business and renewals
• Identify account rounding opportunities for other Chubb practices
• Implement and manage effective pricing and rate strategies
• Build, maintain and manage producer and customer relationships
• Collaborate with other underwriters, operations, claims, marketing, and home office management as necessary

• Minimum 2 years of commercial P&C underwriting experience
• Proven marketing and negotiation skills
• Strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills
• College degree or related experience
